About Computer Science Department
Computer science degrees deal with the theoretical foundations of information and computation, taking a scientific and practical approach to computation and its applications. Computer science is considered by many of its practitioners to be a foundational science - one which makes other knowledge and achievements possible. The study of computer science involves systematically studying methodical processes (such as algorithms) in order to aid the acquisition, representation, processing, storage, communication of, and access to information. This is done by analyzing the feasibility, structure, expression and mechanization of these processes and how they relate to this information. Computer science department was stared in the year 1997 and BCA course started in year 2000. The Computer science department headed by Dr. Vidyashankar M.H and his team working hard to make students skill full with knowledge by providing training for skills and techniques along with new computer subjects. Many of students of B.Sc and BCA from Computer Science dept have got placement in companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Tech Mahindra etc. Computer Science department has conducted several special lectures by expertise resource persons and conducted Four workshops, and Four National Level conferences.
