About Geology Department
Geology department was started in the year 1950 under the leadership of Sri T.V.Subbraya Mudliar. B.Sc course started in the year 1950. The Geology department is playing its significant role by providing information to the students about the subject and importance through teaching and introducing latest applied branches like Mining, Engineering, Granite technology, Remote sensing and its application is part our of syllabus. It also includes interdisciplinary subject like Environmental Studies and Environmental Science.
